When it all started
Adelmo forti
The first services date back to the 1930s when the Forti’s transported the mail to the nearby towns of Monte Amiata by horse and carriage. Later the car rental business was born in 1943, when Adelmo Forti received from the municipality the first license for transporting people still owned by the company.
TRAVEL AGENCY
With Paolo Forti, son of Adelmo, the activity concentrated on the tourism sector and in the 1980s with the integration of the retail travel agency to support the existing activity of the “incoming” sector, Amiata Viaggi represents a platform of selected and guaranteed services with the aim of enhancing the territory.
